The VALMERU E30A/B Emergency Relief Vent provides high-capacity pressure relief for storage tanks when abnormal overpressure exceeds the capacity of normal tank venting. Designed for demanding storage-tank service, it combines high-capacity emergency venting with convenient manway access.
DESCRIPTION
When routine tank vents cannot handle an emergency pressure rise, E30A/B opens to provide a large relief area and automatically reseats as pressure returns toward normal. Properly sized installations support emergency venting requirements including fire-exposure cases, while the quick-opening cover also simplifies tank inspection and maintenance access.

Do I still need an E30A/B emergency vent if the tank already has a breather valve?
The two devices serve different duties. A breather valve manages routine tank pressure and vacuum breathing, while E30A/B is intended to provide high-capacity relief when an abnormal pressure event exceeds the capacity of standard venting.
What size and set-pressure range is available for E30A/B?
E30A/B is available from 12 inch (ND 300A) to 24 inch (ND 600A), with a listed set-pressure range of 50 to 2,000 mmH2O (custom settings available upon request).
Can E30A/B also function as a manhole cover?
